Speaker: Eric Sanderson, DPT
Raking, weeding, planting, transplanting, harvesting; Oh, my aching back and shoulders. As gardeners we all know too well what that is all about.
Please join the Batavia Plain Dirt Gardeners in welcoming Physical Therapist, Eric Sanderson, DPT who will introduce us to stretches and proper body mechanics to help the young, middle aged, and those of us north of middle aged, navigate safely and comfortably through the fall harvesting cleanup season.
Eric, a graduate of Midwestern University, has worked in the Physical Therapy department at Fox Valley Orthopedics for the past 10 years. He has treated everything from minor sprains to total joint replacements. Eric, his wife, and 3 young children live in Batavia and are all avid backyard gardeners. He knows the rewards and physical challenges of gardening.
Be ready to work it out and stretch, stretch, stretch!
